About Me

I began my career as a florist, creating beautiful arrangements all day in delightful flower shops throughout Boston. Eventually I began managing the day-to-day operations of the flower shops as well as the retail operations. Some specific career highlights include:

  • Manager of two boutique retail stores in Charlestown, MA (Junebug and Place & Gather) for 5 years - owned the ordering, receiving, and daily management of over 12,000 SKUs

  • Attended annual AmericasMart trade show in Atlanta consecutive years, placing orders for products strategically timed to arrive throughout the year

  • Acted as a resource and mentor for a staff of both full-time and part-time employees with a shared goal of creating a welcoming, uplifting, and cheerful shopping experience

  • Founding board member of the Charlestown Business Alliance, and coordinated neighborhood events with over 40 other small businesses

  • Catalogued existing inventory and implemented inventory management system for gift boutique

  • Established eCommerce websites using platforms like Shopify and Lightspeed
