About Me
I began my career as a florist, creating beautiful arrangements all day in delightful flower shops throughout Boston. Eventually I began managing the day-to-day operations of the flower shops as well as the retail operations. Some specific career highlights include:
Manager of two boutique retail stores in Charlestown, MA (Junebug and Place & Gather) for 5 years - owned the ordering, receiving, and daily management of over 12,000 SKUs
Attended annual AmericasMart trade show in Atlanta consecutive years, placing orders for products strategically timed to arrive throughout the year
Acted as a resource and mentor for a staff of both full-time and part-time employees with a shared goal of creating a welcoming, uplifting, and cheerful shopping experience
Founding board member of the Charlestown Business Alliance, and coordinated neighborhood events with over 40 other small businesses
